The Tangled Tumbleweed is a locally-owned establishment that opened in June 2016. The location was a former gas station in Scottsbluff, but the only visible reminder these days is the glass garage doors. Today, it's been transformed into a cozy local hangout with 1565 square feet of kitchen/restaurant/bar and part-retail store. Custom furniture crafted out of repurposed doors and windows and other unique decor are included. A 3 season front covered patio (approx 264 sq. feet) features patio heaters and custom shade protection from the sun, wind, and rain --This space could be easily converted into a year around space. Two sliding glass doors to the south open to an additional privacy fenced 460 square feet of outdoor seating space with party lights and portable fire pits. (see pictures) Both patios are a great place to enjoy wines, cold craft beers and appetizers. In western Nebraska, the aesthetic of most restaurants is more cowboy than cosmopolitan. The Tangled Tumbleweed is classy without being pretentious and cozy without being cliche. The interior space is flooded with light from the huge windows, setting the stage for a surprisingly elegant and unforgettable experience. Cozy dining area is somewhat reminiscent of a rustic European Bistro. Bose' stereo equipment will surround your customers with mood music. 2 furnaces and A/C to keep everyone comfortable, roof is approx 2 years old, equipment and furniture will be included along with trade name and real estate. The restaurant maintained an off-site catering business---the equipment will be included (see associate docs for details). It's the kind of place you'd never expect to find in the Panhandle, but once you find it you'll want to keep going back over and over.
